This is the place dedicated to sharing places I have visited. A wild array of all things "Food". A work in progress, to which I add as I go along. Have a browse:
BOROUGH MARKET - SOUTHWARK, LONDON: http://www.boroughmarket.org.uk/
This one has to feature high on the list. A tresure trove for all sorts of ingredients and regular shopping spot for me. While you are there try to sample some oysters (preferably Colchester Natives if in season), Have the best Bubble and Squeak in Maria's Market Cafe or try a glass or two in the "Wine Pantry - Tasting Room" a small wine merchant dedicated to glorious English Wines only - My absolute favourite is Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs. Silver is great, but if you can lay your hands on the Gold - go for it!

SYDENY FISH MARKET: http://www.sydneyfishmarket.com.au/
I was lucky enough to visit this wonderful place and I was stunned by the vast choice of fish and seafood. Families gather here and casually devour huge plates of seafood by the waterside. A perfect day out!

PIKE PLACE MARKET - SEATTLE: http://www.pikeplacemarket.org/
Whilst on business in Seattle this was the place I spent most of my free time out of office hours. A truly captivating place with wonderful produce. If you can go for a guided tour and you will not only find out about the fascinating history of Pike Place Market, but also get the chance to sample some fabulous food from Italian to freshly made crupmets and fabulous still warm smoked salmon. Pike Place Market has so much to offer and if you can tear your attention away from the food take a look at the stunning flower market and the breathtaking bouqets which can be snapped up here for very litle money.

THE BALLARD FARMERS MARKET - SEATTLE: http://ballardfarmersmarket.wordpress.com/
One of my lovely US colleagues quickly picked up on my food passion and invited me along to this weekend market in the outskirts of Seattle. It was a wonderful experience. Whole families out for the morning to buy the freshest and most tempting produce and pick up a bite to eat at one of the many food stalls. Here I had the most wonderful vegetable fajitas. So worth a visit!
